The real word of the year

So of course, everyone's posting on "blog" being the word of the year. In the comments on The Washington Monthly's post on "blog," I came across this:

My vote for Word of the Year would still have been for
kakistocracy.

I don't know about anyone else, but I had to look it up. The American Heritage Dictionary says:

Government by the least qualified or most unprincipled citizens

I'm going with ckelly on this one.
