What I've read in the paper in the past 48 hours

Bush is excited to eliminate social security, drill in the Alaska Wildlife Refuge, and test smart bombs in Australia. Big surprise, Bush got extra votes in Ohio from machine errors. Hollywood may be "a liability" to Democrats because Republicans feel "pistol whipped" by the celebrities urging a humane and sensible political choice. And Republicans are "issuing only slightly veiled threats" to Democrats who might oppose the appointment of conservative judges. Finally, and most amusingly, coyotes have been spotted near the White House. I don't need to point out the metaphor here, do I?
