The wrong element

I remember a thousand years ago when I was in high school, James Watt revealed himself to be the most culturally retarded member of Reagan's administration by canceling the Beach Boys fourth of July performance on the mall because they attracted "the wrong element." Instead, Wayne Newton played. Of course, as a teenage punk, I wouldn't have been caught dead at either concert. My friends and I scrawled "the wrong element" in sharpee across our tee-shirts and went to Rock against Reagan, as did all of DC's self-respecting teenage punks.

Well, those days are long gone, and instead of controversy over those boys and their woodie, we have Kid Rock scheduled to play at the inaugural youth concert hosted by those boozy sisters, Jenna and Barbara. Patridiot Watch has a sampling of his lyrics posted including lovely stanzas like:
