What spider venom isn't bad enough?

In our ongoing "decline of the American empire" category, we see that four people were paralyzed from injections of raw botulism, marketed as a cheap alternative to botox. At least they were couples. Perhaps there's some comfort in that. "Gee honey, your forehead looks so smooth. Bummer the ventilator is messing up the photos so much."
