Okay it sounds like a Monty Python skit

But the Carnival of Bad History looks like it's going to be a pretty damned cool site. Revisionist (and just plain wrong) history is one of my "issues." Take the flag, for instance: the wingers are always talking about how we fought a revolution for the Stars and Stripes, despite the fact that the flag, as such, didn't even exist yet. This kind of invented tradition bugs the crap out of me. I look forward to watching the carnival unfold. (Thanks to Rook's Rant for the head's up.)
