Pulling together after the disaster

The BBC is reporting that Israel has cancelled plans to send a 150-person rescue team to Sri Lanka after Colombo objected to the fact that 60 soldiers were part of the team:
Sri Lanka Ambassador Diffa Digeratna is quoted by Jerusalem Post as saying that the change was due to "the lack of accommodations in Colombo".
Um...sure. I mean, they are a rescue team, Diffa. I'm certain they weren't expected to stay in a nice hotel, but if that's the story you want to tell...

Instead Israel will send a small team to escort a supply convoy.

Pretty fucked up if you ask me.
